Spring start up is the reversal of the winterization procedure to get the system prepared for summer use. Start ups can happen anytime after the danger of freezing has passed – as early as March.

You may not need to use the system for several months, but it will be ready when you are. Just turning on the controller will not activate the system if it has been winterized!

This Service Includes:

• Careful mainline re-pressurization, checking meter and/or gauge for any slow mainline leaks or open valves or drains.
• Activating each zone from the controller to confirm solenoid valves open and close properly. Checking time, date, program settings
• Visually inspecting for broken heads or pipes, cut tubing, missing nozzles, etc.
• Straightening and raising low and/or crooked heads. If there are too many to correct within time allotted we’ll schedule a return visit.
• Noting suggestions for needed improvements.

Not all leaks are detectable at turn on. Some leaks may not surface in well-draining soil or be slow to become evident.

Residential Rates: $120 for the first half hour of labor + tax and parts. Additional time is billed at $30 for each additional 15 minutes.

Commercial/ HOA or Rental Property Rates: $200 for the first half hour of labor + tax and parts. Additional time is billed at $50 for each additional 15 minutes.
