Spring Turn-on

Includes pressure testing mainline and making sure all zones operate from controller.  Faulty wiring or bad valve solenoids can go unchecked if we can only operate zones manually from outside. We suggest arranging access to controllers located inside house or locked space. We prefer locating controllers outside if possible for easy site visit scheduling and thorough check. For wi-fi based controllers, we ask that you find the ‘share access’ feature in your app and add us. We can walk you through it.

Each zone is checked for leaks, breaks, crooked or low heads, missing or plugged nozzles. Issues like poor coverage or low pressure due to bad design are noted with suggested fix to be arranged after the rush of turn-ons is completed. Controllers are typically left in the off position after being checked in the early spring months, as watering may not be necessary until May. It’s up to the customer to switch the dial to Auto when the time comes. Turn-on service  does NOT include backflow testing, a separate service (see below)

Our service rate is $100 for the first half hour. Each additional hour is $100 per technician, pro-rated by 15 minute increments. Turn-ons may be quick or more involved, depending on the shape or upkeep of the system. Repairs taking longer than 2 hours may have to be rescheduled. Often it’s not possible to know how long tricky repairs may take.

 Repair/Remodel/Troubleshooting

Free Estimates are given for new installations only. Repairs and remodels are time and material; ballpark figures can be given but are not binding. Our service rate is $100 for the first half hour. Each additional hour is $100 per technician, pro-rated by 15 minute increments. New Installation

We will design a conservation-based watering system for your existing landscape, or new design you have planned. Free on-site visit and estimate. You will receive a written proposal outlining each section of the project with a set price. Once work begins we ask for a 50% down payment. The balance is due upon completion. New installations include one year of free maintenance, which includes first winterization and spring turn-on.

Drip Solutions

Our specialty is low volume watering to beds, pots, containers, and hanging baskets. We strive to achieve a good aesthetic with our product, and proper water application. See our blog post on Netafim, our preferred line source drip product.

Backflow Testing

The $70 per unit service includes testing the unit (DCVA, PVB, RPZ) sending a copy of the results to your water district, and sending you a copy of the results with your bill.

Winterization

Protect your investment by having your entire sprinkler system emptied of water for the winter. Damage due to freezing can be expensive to repair. We use  air compressors to blow out the system from shut off valve to the last head.

1-3 zones $80 + tax

4-8 zones $100 + tax

$5 each additional zone over 8. (i.e 9 zones- $105 + tax, 15 zones- $135 + tax)

Last minute scheduling will cost extra for a special trip. Call us BEFORE October 15.

New Waterline

We can replace your rusty old waterline from the meter at the sidewalk to the shut-off in your house. Many older homes have galvanized pipe that has so much oxidized buildup there isn’t sufficient flow to supply a sprinkler system. The pipe may also be crumbling and not safe to make a connection to.
We use copper or Pex pipe per local codes. If we can’t do the job for any reason, we can refer you to a trusted contractor. Call for an estimate.

Outdoor Lighting

We service as well as install quality fixtures to accent landscapes at night and provide added safety along walkways, steps, and patios. We promote the use of energy saving and longer lasting LED lights. We use products from Hadco, Kichler, Advantage, Vista, and FX.
